Our Pacesetter Program recognizes elite teams for their extraordinary efforts. Pacesetter Teams recruit the most people and raise the most money. They receive rewards and recognition for the special part they play in The Weekend.

There is no sign up required to be a Weekend Pacesetter. Simply meet the qualifications to earn the recognition you deserve.

White Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum $10,000 raised by team

• Online recognition for team and captain on website
• Special Weekend Pacesetter ribbons to wear on event for all team members

 
Blue Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum $20,000 raised by team 

• All of the above, plus;
• Team Captain invitation to special post-event recognition affair

 
Red Ribbon Pacesetters
Minimum $50,000 raised by team

• All of the above, plus;
• Team name and captain’s name on a special 2011 Weekend plaque to be displayed at the Cancer Survivors Park

To create a team after you are already registered as an individual participant, simply call or email The Weekend office at and they will happily do it for you.

Already created a team and want your friends to join? Just tell them to search for your team on our site to join you.

Want to create a new team? Simply select “Create a Team” and register a team captain. The rest of your team members just click “Join a Team” to join!

Important: Each team member must raise his or her own minimum individual fundraising requirement of $2,000 for the 2-day walk or $1,250 for the 1-day walk. A donation can only be attributed to one participant’s donation account. We cannot split donations between team members.

Participating as a Corporate Team in The Weekend is an inexpensive and effortless way to:

• Encourage team building.


• Promote health & well-being of employees.


• Raise corporate visibility in the community.


• Make a significant mark in the fight against women’s cancers.

Absolutely not! Participating as a Corporate Team is completely free, although many companies do choose to contribute financially to their Corporate Teams. Here are a few suggestions:

• Contribute to employee registration fee


• Match donations that employees generate


• Make one donation to the Team to be divided amongst all employees


• Provide company logo apparel for use on Training Walks or on event
